Project Overview

The new Multi-Use Community Hub (MUCH), located in the heart of King's Lynn, is the home of a new library and adult learning facilities. Delivered for Norfolk County Council by main contractor Mace, the scheme creates a landmark public building centred on a dramatic full-height atrium and feature timber staircase.

Titan Interior Solutions installed a wide range of joinery and interior elements throughout the building. At the main entrance and across the ground floor this included the entrance door and screen, along with key features within the central atrium such as the staircase and full-height panelling extending to the roof, as well as installations within the children's play area.

On the first and second floors, Titan Interior Solutions delivered joinery around the central atrium — including the staircase, window bench seating, workbenches and desks, the rare books library display unit, large glazed screens, office glazed screens and fully fitted training kitchens. The scope also covered all timber doors, timber screens and bathroom IPS panels throughout the building.

Titan Flooring delivered 1,500m² of flooring across the scheme, installing a mix of carpet tiles, vinyl and linoleum along with primary barrier matting at the main entrances. The package also included full floor preparation and the installation of trims and nosings throughout.
