Titan Flooring was appointed by Robertson Construction to deliver a full flooring package across the Leonardo Building in Leeds.
The former Leonardo Printworks and Thoresby Buildings were brought back to life following a successful refurbishment, completed in December 2023. The project combined new build with the sensitive restoration of Grade II listed buildings, providing 473 student bedrooms across a mix of studio and student cluster accommodation.
Titan completed all specialist floor preparation and laid Amtico LVT flooring throughout, with carpet tiles to the communal spaces. Amenity areas received a mix of design-orientated carpet tiles and LVT products, serving facilities including an on-site cinema room, common areas and study areas.
The scheme also called for specialist gym floors, along with the full restoration and partial replacement of the existing parquet floors — preserving the character of the historic buildings while delivering hard-wearing, contemporary finishes fit for modern student living.
