Titan Flooring has completed its flooring package at One Clapham Junction on Burridge Gardens in London, working with Mount Anvil on the regeneration of Peabody's St John's Hill estate. The original 1930s homes had long ceased to meet modern living standards, and following extensive consultation with residents, the 351 original homes were replaced with 658 new ones. Half of the new homes are affordable, delivered alongside new community and commercial spaces and to a far more energy-efficient standard throughout.
Titan's phase comprised three buildings rising from four to twelve storeys, providing 307 apartments across a mix of one to four-bedroom homes. Throughout the scheme the team installed broadloom carpet on underlay, parquet LVT and laminate within the apartments, with a combination of LVT and carpet to the corridors and lobbies, totalling 20,000m² of flooring. Maintaining a consistent standard of finish across the different apartment types and communal areas, while working to a live construction programme, was central to the delivery.
