The Horbury Group has been appointed to deliver the drywall, joinery and flooring packages on The Hive, a new co-living development taking shape in Kelham Island, Sheffield.
Titan Interior Solutions will carry out the drywall and joinery packages, with Titan Flooring delivering the flooring works, as part of the wider construction team assembled by main contractor HBC Construction for developer Grantside alongside leading property and construction consultancy EDGE.
Hive will provide 100 co-living studio apartments alongside shared amenity spaces including a gym, yoga studio, co-working hub and roof terrace, plus active ground-floor retail units for start-up and independent businesses. The £24 million scheme is being built to BREEAM 'Excellent' standards with WiredScore Platinum certification and rooftop solar panels, and is targeting completion in spring 2027.
Work is now underway on site, with Titan Interior Solutions and Titan Flooring bringing their combined expertise to help deliver a scheme designed to set a new benchmark for sustainable co-living in Sheffield.
