A great project recently secured for Titan Flooring Limited
We’re delighted to have been awarded the Flooring & Tiling packages across all three elements – Illusions, Distant Worlds and Zanzibar, in Newcastle-under-Lyme, working alongside HBC Construction Limited on this significant regeneration programme for Capital&Centric.
Rye Park has an interesting story of its own. The Ryecroft site was once home to the former Sainsbury’s supermarket and Newcastle’s 1960s Civic Offices, before becoming a long-standing brownfield site. It is now being transformed into a new green neighbourhood with 175 homes, commercial space and a new urban park, reconnecting an underused part of the town centre with the wider community.
And there’s plenty of local history in the Zanzibar element too. The former Zanzibar nightclub, a well-known part of Newcastle’s nightlife for many years, was demolished in 2021. Its former site is now being given an entirely new purpose, delivering 63 new affordable homes, landscaping, improved public realm and new enterprise space.
It’s great to see previously underused sites being brought back into use and investment being made in the long-term regeneration of the town centre.
Our flooring and tiling works will commence shortly and we’re looking forward to playing our part in bringing these new neighbourhoods to life. A great result for the Titan team and another significant residential project added to our growing portfolio.
