The Hidden Gem Cafe Extention Is Complete!

The latest phase saw the Horbury Group continue its’ support by extending the eating area of the award-winning Hidden Gem Café in Sheffield free of charge. The cafe is run by Work Ltd; a charity that offers people with learning disabilities a chance to reach their full potential in life.

As part of the extension, walls were knocked down and moved, new wooden windows and patio doors were installed. Specialist acoustic panels were incorporated into the new design to make a more pleasant dining experience. The outside seating area was transformed from an uneven and uninviting area, into a welcoming, al ‘fresco dining quarter.

The extension has provided much needed, extra seating for visitors and further space for a Bijoux gift shop which now displays and sells the lovely arts and crafts that the students have made.
