One Bartholomew Close is an impressive shell and core twelve storey contract within the heart of the City of London, comprising of full floor plate ceiling installation, SFS lift shafts, core walls and ceilings,  over thirty full height riser compartments, toilets, Lift lobbies, basement insulation, seamless acoustic ceiling to the Reception area, bespoke basement changing/ welfare areas, and two number full height stair cores.

We worked with the resident design team to achieve the Clients expectations of creating a ceiling with a monolithic appearance. The Reception acoustic ceiling is formed of a plaster compound mixed with crushed Marble to achieve the required acoustic performance and give the appearance of a seamless full area finish.

We designed and completed all SFS systems to form the central lift shafts over all floors and installed feature split level ceilings throughout all lift lobby areas.

Each of the eleven floors had a 1500sqm semi bespoke split-level SAS ceiling installed with integrated ceiling mounted services and plasterboard bulkheads, all of which are easily demountable for future end users.

The build on this contract also included two high end staircase fit outs over twelve floors where the installation comprised of curved plasterboard ceilings with bespoke shadow details to follow the shape of the staircase, and twelve storey high independent wall linings. We worked with the Architects design team and developed a detail where the movement joints required within the walls were strategically placed on the same plain as the staircase stringers therefore giving a more aesthetically pleasing appearance than normally expected within a stair core.
