Construction of luxury town centre apartments and associated retail facilities.
This project centred on the construction of more than 500 luxury town centre apartments and associated retail development, split into three high-rise blocks.
Horbury Building Systems Limited was brought in as a specialist contractor to construct and finish the dividing walls, internal apartment walls and ceilings. Throughout construction, a high emphasis was placed on the acoustic performance of the apartments - both through the party walls and the separating floors.
From the start of the project, the team from Horbury was involved in design discussions with both the acoustic engineer and the main contractor to develop a solution which would satisfy both the acoustic criteria and increase the speed of installation.
