Horbury Group

Heritage Court is a modern apartment block in the centre of Birmingham. It consists of 118 new build individual flats ranging from one and two-bedroom apartments to executive residences. These surround a landscaped central plaza, complete with seating and a recreation area.

Horbury Building Systems Limited undertook the dry lining and partitioning work, while MWS Joinery Limited handled the first and second fix joinery, including bespoke joinery work in the reception and main entrance. Due to restrictions within the construction schedule, the majority of the work was carried out within a six-month period, utilising a workforce of over 70.

As with most inner city developments, the distribution of labour and materials around the site was a crucial part of the project. This was achieved successfully thanks to proactive site management and a good working relationship with the main contractor.
