A major refurbishment and redevelopment programme for Derbyshire Schools.
Tupton Hall School has recently undergone a major refurbishment and redevelopment programme as part of an initiative by Derbyshire Schools to improve its educational facilities.
Balfour Beatty, under a Private Finance Initiative (PFI), contracted the Horbury Group to undertake a package of works, which included: dry lining, fire protection, internal plastering, external rendering, plant room walkways and fire doors, fire stopping devices and suspended ceilings.
The work was carried out during several school terms and particular emphasis was placed upon minimal disruption to staff and pupils.
