AES Seals are a leading worldwide company in the field of hydraulic seals for a range of industries. The company is at the forefront of technology and have won the Queen’s Award for Industry several times. The head office, testing and manufacturing facility in Rotherham is state of the art and is operated to the highest standards. Speed of production and assembly is key, their products are assembled and shipped daily around the world at 24 hours notice. Construction works were carried out in a manner which had no effect on the clients’ processes.

AES Test House

Millstone Building Ltd completed the construction of new test house facilities within an existing building. The works involved installing new foundation bases and steel frame together with lightweight, long span timber beams to form a mezzanine floor.

The works were carried out without disruption to the operating facility, alongside and within "clean "areas, requiring sealing off of work areas and close liaison with Department Heads.

The works were carried out on time and handed over to a very satisfied client.

AES Director's and Store's offices

Alterations to existing boardroom and offices and mezzanine floor.
The works required the isolation of a complete section of the factory to avoid disruption to production. Our solution was to install a jumbo stud wall for the full height, approximately 9m high, which was removed on completion. This was sealed to create a dust proof barrier and also involved temporary re positioning of high level fire detection beams etc.
The works involved fire protection to the existing structure, construction of new offices at first floor level complete with raised floors throughout and full air conditioning.

Works to the directors' suite involved re configuration and upgrading of existing areas including provision of hardwood doors and finishes to match existing, all of which were manufactured in our own joiners shop.

The scheme was completed on time for a very satisfied client.
